Purl

My sister posted about how she was going to buy some fabric at Purl, a shop in NYC selling in their own words, "beautiful materials, tools, notions, and accessories for knitting, sewing, and quilting." Beautiful indeed. It was hard for me to leave the site. You might want to set a side some time to check out what they have to offer.

WOW! I had a hard time leaving their site as well. They have some of the most interesting and different fabrics I've seen. I wish I could take a little trip to NYC to check out the store in person. Let me know if you buy anything. I would love to see it.

Looks like fabrics are taking on the scrapebooking paper look. I actually know someone who designed fabric in the 80s. Joking around I asked her if she was responsible for the big floral prints. She looked at me and didn't say anyhting.

I really do need to head down there. Carmen and I are suppose to go to the city and stop by some cool stores down in Soho--one of them is purl. Just need to find the time and decide if we want to take our crazy kids.
