Goodbye Arthur
Today, after going to Grandma's for dinner we arrived home to find that our friend Arthur, the goldfish, had passed away. We got him two days ago from Aubrey's party. It was really hard for Nora. After telling me Arthur wasn't moving she began to cry. We just held each other for a long time until Daddy came home. We talked about where Arthur is now and Daddy bought some Chocolate fudge ice cream to soothe the ache a little. We think the talk and ice cream helped. In Nora's prayer tonight she told Heavenly Father that Arthur was dying and asked that Arthur be blessed to live with Him.

That prayer is so cute. And Spencer is a very thoughtful daddy!
so cute! We had to have that talk with our girls a couple of weeks ago when our male beta fish "Annie" died. We had had her/him for several years.
Aubreys party looks soo cute. I was planning a fish party for the girls as well because Macy wants an Aerial cake and I already had a fish theme in mind. I was planning on the real fish as well. Was that a hit with the kiddos? What did you send them home in?
Way sad to loose Arthur. But what a good opportunity to teach Nora a lesson about life. I have found that ice cream can heal all wounds. Specer is so sweet.

That's so sweet and tender. I love her face in the pictures, and what a smart daddo to know icecream cures any blues!
Yeah, I'd take ice cream over a dead fish anyday.
If you want another fish, let us know. Zach's fish are always having babies and we are always trying to get rid of them.
