Lazy Afternoon
I guess I got too busy to post about having family in town a few weeks back. I'll have to post more pictures once I edit them. The guest of honor was Caleb (Nora's cousin on Spencer's side), and Clark and Tiffany. Caleb and Nora were inseparable while they stayed, which isn't that hard in our small home but Nora loved it.
One lazy Sunday afternoon while they were here Grandpa pulled out Nora's current favorite puzzle. These are activities I remember growing up with. The picture brought back memories of family get togethers and family puzzle projects. The lounging in the backround happened quite a bit too. There always seems to be lounging, possibly a game, and a puzzle going on when I get together with family.
What family activities do you do when you get together with family?

Our fave at my parents is Blongo Ball. And cooking dutch oven, and making smores over the fire. Ours always seem to be more exciting with food.
My family is into board games, the WII, and watching movies on a big screen.
Games. We love strategy games: Chess, Stratigo, Trains, Settlers of Catan, etc.
Walks with the Fosters. I love those family walks. Going to see a movie is a must. Board games, watching kids play, and telling childhood stories with my fam. Oh, and getting babysitters to go out for an adult dinner. Nice.
Caleb and NOra look like they could be siblings! Aren't lazy sunday afternoons with the fam the best?!
Love the Halloween decor. Thanks for sharing. I too LOVE Halloween! What are your kids going to be?
Love it--wish I could have lounged together with you! Sunday afternoons are the best.
Our family gets together and eats. My mom's side we play games and dad's side we visit.
One word, three letter: NAP!
I second the NAP! And puzzles and games.
I love lazy family days. We play card games and talk and laugh.
