Hives Attack!

Blogging will be light this week. My poor sweet child is suffering from hives. I'm hoping they only last a week. Pray your child never has to go through this. Not a fun one. Although, no sickness or outbreak ever is.

That is SO sad! I bet you feel so helpless! I know there is not a lot of things you can do to treat hives. Best of luck!

Carolyn, I really wish I knew. I think I will get her allergy tested after they clear up.

Zach went through this one time when I was at girls camp. Don took him to the Drs. and they said that they don't even know the cause of 80% of the rashes kids get. Don even took pictures of Zach, because by the time I came home from girls camp it was gone. Crazy. Hang in there. We never did find out what caused the hives.

Mason had those too, about three months ago. We had no clue what caused them but they did just went away on their own. Best of luck, I sugest just keep her doped up on benadryl. That is the only thing that kept him from itching. So sorry!

Oh poor Nora. Harman breaks out into Hives about once a year. Usually in the spring/summer and they are all over. We don't know what causes them. The doctor prescibes Zyrtec and then some other sort of medicine that I can't remember. But they aren't groggy and they take them away in a few days. I hope by now they are gone!

Oww...that picture makes me hurt. Poor Nora. How is she doing today?

She is actually doing much better now. We her onto a prescription and that has seemed to help it get on the mend.

Poor Nora! I hope she recovers quickly. My kids haven't had hives yet. It looks miserable!

Oh that is so sad! I remember going through that very thing when I was young. I had hive from head to toe. My ENTIRE body was covered. I remember my parents stripping me down and I couldn't see a single spot without a hive on it. Poor little girl. I'm so sorry for her!

Wow, so that is what hives look like. I'm so glad she is feeling.
Hopefully, this will be the last case of hives for Nora. Angelina says,"Get better Nora, I love you!"

My heart goes out to both of you. As a mom, I know you just want to make your babies feel good. Sorry you have to go through it.

I just realized I forgot to say "better" in my last comment. Sorry.

Poor little woman and poor momma! I think these things are harder on the mom sometimes because it's so hard to see your little ones sick. Hope it's better even as I type this...
