Luxurious Camping

I don't think I'm one that prefers camping. I've done quite a bit of it in my life and have roughed it out in the wild with bears no less. This doesn't mean I will never go, it just means there may have to be some coaxing before I commit to it. On the other hand give me a deluxe tent set up like this and I will have the bags packed in a jiffy. So, what's your kind of camping? Please do share.

Wow, that is my kind of camping too! I have done a bit of "real" camping, roughin' it, or whatever, but that was mostly with church groups. My family (bless my mother for this) mostly did camping at sites where there was a public restroom and showers nearby. Running water!!

Chris is a big camper. But I hate it. To many years of girls camp, and no hot water, smelly bathrooms, dirt in your food, and cots. So if he wants to go I make him go to Bryce Canyon, to Ruby's Inn. They have running water, real toilets, showers, and a swimming pool. It is the on;y place I will go. I think I would like it even better in that tent.

I'm with you, Marleen. I could camp more if I had a set-up like that. I am afraid that with boys and Rick for a husband I will be doing a lot of camping in my life.

Oh I hear ya sista! But I not even coaxing and begging on hands and knees would get me to go. This is a lovely set up. How about I camp all day and late into the evening doing "camping" stuff... but then when I want to go to bed... I head on over to my hotel room with running water.

Marleen I have left previous comments. Please come check us out whenever you want. I have been stalking you for a while. :) I think your girls are beautiful. I hope all is well with you all.

THAT is amazing! I'm not a big camping fan either - although, my hubby and kids are, so I end up going more than I'd like to. I am loving how that has a full on head board, bed-spread, etc. Too funny!

I'm probably one of the only crazy women out there who actually enjoys roughing it :) In fact, I think I like it more than my own husband, lol. My favorite camping trip would be backpacking deep into the wilderness for several days, bringing with me only what I can carry on my back. I know, I'm super weird! Although... that deluxe tent set is definitely appealing :)

Mindy, you are in the same boat as my sister and her husband. They of will take their two small children on their campouts even. Her link on my blog is under Darling Darleen.

I must admit I do enjoy camping. And while I agree something like that tent would be stupendous I am pretty happy throwing down a sleeping bag in a tent and calling it good. There is just something about it.

I do love this photo, but my idea of camping is in a big 5th wheel or trailer or a hotel! Ha, ha, ha!

Yeah we love roughing it. Five day backpacking trips is what we call camping. It's just not the same when it's car camping. No fun to us.

I am not a big camper. I hate to say it. I want to be cool and say that I am though! haha! That being said, I love the outdoors. I love hiking and exploring caves...waterfalls take my breath away every time. But at the end of the day I like getting into my car and heading home (i live in utah) or heading to the lodge/hotel/motel....anything with a hot shower.

I am not such a huge fan of camping, although I have done it and survived. If I am going to rough it-then water had better be involved! I do, however, LOVE this setup. Or a camping trailer (I love that too!)-water, electricity, it is all good! :-)

I liked girl's camp, I even was a leader twice! We never went camping as a family..we lived in our little mobile in the middle of the forest, it wasn't much different than people who "camp" in a RV! It still feels like camping here...I can't see my neighbors!

I am a hotel camper! For some reason I can't sleep well in a tent. I wake up all night. However I can sleep great in a nice air conditioned hotel! :)
