My Valentine

The first year Spencer and I were married he stayed up the night before Valentine's day and made me this card. Talent in paper cutting runs in his family back to his great grandpa. I still can't believe it only took him a night to make this. It's something special. On the back he wrote some sweet nothings to me. I'll be holding on to this my whole life. I love my valentine.

Uh, that is insanely impossible that Spencer actually made that. I'll believe it when I see it, Spencer!

Okay, I'm pretending I don't think he really did it, but in all actuality I'm sure he probably did. He is a talented man! Lucky girl.

Wow! That's impressive! No way! So, he should make you a new one every year. That would be cool.

Thanks for showing us. My grandpa would be so proud of Spencer! I was always amazed by my grandpa's cuttings. He entered one in the Utah State Fair once, and they didn't know where to put it. It ended up in the doily section, a little out of place. But it is so unusual of a talent. Mom G.
