Darci's Baby Shower Brunch

My friend Darci is having a baby next week and I am so excited! It will be her first and a girl.

I know this is late coming but a few weeks ago my friend Mollie and I threw a baby shower for her. We did a brunch and it turned out so cute so I had to post pictures. Darci's nursery theme has to do with birds and it inspired us to do the same for the shower. The invites were done by my talented sister Darleen but I don't have the picture for it.

Here is how the shower turned out though.

Upon arriving, guests were to write their addresses on an envelope for a door prize. Mollie made up the cute poem.

The shower was held in Mollie's home. It was a perfect setting. Love how bright her home is.

We played gift bingo and had these fun prizes for the winners.

Mommy-to-be! Cutest pregnant lady ever. So jealous.

Love Letters

My friend Heather is such a wonderful mom. This week she is writing a love letter a day for each of her children. Inspired, I'll be doing the same just in my journal. I gotta write something in there these 'blogging' days.

Jake + Jessica

Last weekend Spencer's good friend Jake got married to this beauty. We are so excited for the both of them. Jake has always been more of a brother then just a good friend to Spencer. It was fun catching up with Spencer's buddies while there. Loved the green and white colors for the wedding.

Jake and Spencer. If you can imagine little ol' me (5' nothing) next to Jake (6' 3"). It would have been comical. Really. Both Jake and I really feel uncomfortable standing next to each other.

Had to show the pic of Nora looking at the pretty princess while taking a picture with Jake and Jessica.

Childhood Friend

This will show you the sweet results of being a blogger.

My siblings and I grew up in an awesome neighborhood in Reno, Nevada and had some pretty cool neighbors. Shelley, was one of them. Through blogging, Shelley, was able to find my sister Darleen, who then told me to visit Shelley's blog and see the post she wrote about our family.

Now, Shelley is a part of my blogging family and recently was so kind to come to Camille's funeral. Because of circumstances Shelley was not able to visit with my family at that time but came to Vegas the following weekend and my family and I were able to meet up with her and reminisce on the old times.

Thanks Shelley for taking the time away from family to hang out with us. It was most enjoyable to find out what has happened with the Reno crew of people we once knew.
