Nora's Fancy Birthday

This year we decided we were only going to do a small party for Nora so she was only allowed to invite her two cousins in town. We thought it would save on cost which I'm sure it did but it still felt like a pretty penny.

She wanted a fancy tea party based off the Fancy Nancy books. It turned out very cute and very 'fancy' according to what little girls find fancy. I usually love making homemade cakes or cupcakes but again was not as ambitious (because I'm pregnant), as I usually am so we opted for The Cupcakery here in Vegas. I love how their frosting has edible glitter to top it off.

Aubrey's Birthday

I must relay to you that as of late I have been unmotivated to blog much. For now, I will blame it on being pregnant. But alas, I cannot allow Fall to come without any updating.

We had a wonderful time for Aubrey's 2nd birthday. No major party or theme just a small family gathering and celebration for my 'bubber boo'. Aubrey was ecstatic about receiving a wooden stove top range with baking set. It has been fun to watch her and Nora pretend to cook up some fabulous spreads and eat them up!

Happy Birthday Spencer

Before the day gets by me and festivities begin I need to shine the light on Spencer. He is turning a whopping 33 today! Some fun facts you may not know about him are:

• He doesnt' always wear a suit. Although some dispute this.
• He made me this amazing Valentine one year.
• If I need any catchy phrase,title or poem made up for invites or whatever I just tell him what I want it to be about and in minutes he's got it done.
• While pregnant this last time he did almost all the dishes for me.
• He has been a great sport every Halloween to let me dress him up, (as you can see below). He'll even get into character to make it more fun.

This beautiful lady just celebrated a birthday yesterday. She is an amazing person of many talents and accomplishments as well as a wonderful sister-in-law. We love you Wendy.

Shout Out to Bep

My sweet sister-in-law Bethany has a birthday today. I had to share a happy birthday shout out to her. She's an amazing mother and wife and has made it easy to be her sister-in-law. Love you Bep.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a very happy birthday this year with family. Instead of cake I chose coconut cream pie and sourcream blueberry pie from Marie Calendars. Spencer thought it might be funny to use trick candles. You can't tell in the pictures but the poor pie had ashes all over it and people were still willing to eat it. Not the most appitizing thing to look at let alone eat. Good thing the coconut cream (my favorite), was unharmed. We had lots of laughs and fun. Next...off to a new year of life.

Well, I thought I'd give a shout out to myself for my birthday tomorrow. My greatest present this year will be family in town. I'm excited for the fun activities we have planned. I'm sharing some oldies but goodies for you all to see what a cute new born I was. That was in the day of nurses decorating hats and stockings for the babies to go home in. Oh, the good ol' days. The other picture is in the day kids actually dressed up on picture day. Don't you love the teeth. Watch out she'll getcha. Thank Heaven for veneers!
